Teresa Yancey Secretary


Teresa Ashworth Yancey is a Jacksonville native and she graduated from Jacksonville University.  Teenagers, children and other underdogs give her joy. Before settling down with her husband, Ken, to raise their own three children, who are now grown, she sailed the South Pacific, worked as an Outward Bound instructor and served various industries instructing them in regards to their hazardous waste management.

Teresa currently teaches high school.  The student population that touch her includes teenagers with extreme autism.  Her classes have earned recognition from the American Legion for the conservation work, support of Ronald McDonald House, and the money the raise to support Community Health Outreach.

St. Peter’s Church, the founder of CHO, is her home church. At St. Peter’s she serves in various ministries.
